Your Perceived Value Is Important!
“Value in marketing, also known as customer-perceived value, is the difference between a prospective customer’s evaluation of the benefits and costs of one product when compared with others. Value may also be expressed as a straightforward relationship between perceived benefits and perceived costs: Value = Benefits / Cost.”
That’s one definition but it’s not as straight forward as that, as people do not know your cost. They’d be guessing!
“The Six Million Dollar Man” was a popular TV series in the 70’s starring Lee Majors as Col. Steve Austin. An astronaut who was injured in a mission and they gave him a bionic eye, arm and leg.
Mark Wahlberg is expected to reprise this role in the Remake of this series. What could be the perceived value of making this remake? Will it be as popular as the original series?
